Cancellation Policy

Cancellation, No-Refund, and Class Credit Policy All registrations for classes, workshops, and events offered by Cosmos and Lillies – The Whole Pattern Sewing Academy (“Academy”) are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to cancellations, scheduling conflicts, illness, emergencies, weather conditions, or failure to attend. Participants who provide written notice at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled class time may request a Class Credit, at the sole discretion of the Academy, to be applied toward a future class. Class Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and must be used within the timeframe designated by the Academy. Cancellations, rescheduling requests, or failure to attend made less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled class will result in forfeiture of all fees paid, and no refund or Class Credit will be issued. This policy is strictly enforced to allow instructors adequate preparation time and to accommodate students on waitlists. Assumption OF RISK, WAIVER, RELEASE, AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT (TEXAS) By registering for and participating in any class, workshop, or activity offered by Cosmos and Lillies – The Whole Pattern Sewing Academy, the participant (“Participant”) acknowledges and understands that participation is voluntary and undertaken at Participant’s own risk. Participant understands that sewing instruction involves the use of sewing machines, needles, scissors, rotary cutters, irons, electrical equipment, and other tools and materials that present inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, puncture wounds, electrical shock, and other injuries. Assumption of Risk Participant knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation in Academy activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Academy or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted under Texas law. Waiver and Release of Liability In consideration of being permitted to participate, Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Cosmos and Lillies – The Whole Pattern Sewing Academy, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, assistants, volunteers, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to participation, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property
